MORE THAN 50 YEARS OF COMBINED EXPERIENCE
An honors graduate of East Carolina University, and an honors graduate from the University of Miami School of Law, where he attended as a scholarship student and was a member of its Law Review, Mr. Miller has been providing legal services to individuals, families, and businesses in eastern North Carolina for more than 35 years. He has represented clients in civil and criminal matters at all of the trial court and appellate court divisions in North Carolina, and he is admitted to practice in the federal courts of the Eastern District of North Carolina, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, and before the United States Supreme Court. Honorably discharged from the United States Navy as a Lieutenant, Mr. Miller grew up in eastern North Carolina in a military family. He has been recognized for his services to indigent criminal clients and as an attorney-advisor to a community high school mock trial team. Mr. Miller has also been awarded the highest rating in legal ability and ethical standards by his peers as reported by Martindale-Hubbell.
